What’s New!

A new stamp or stamp set will be issued every few months. As often as possible, each new stamp will work the BASICS stamps already available. Other stamps will be stand-alone sets for a specific design.

Surrounded by Love

Surrounded by Love is a breast cancer quilt featured in the October 2024 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting® magazine, which is available on newsstands on August 2 (Friday).

The stamp set will become available on Friday as well.

My friend Christy was diagnosed with breast cancer in summer of 2023. This quilt was designed for her and accompanied her to many chemo treatments. Happy to report that Christy is doing well now.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Bustin’ Out of Boise, a local charity that provides support for women going through cancer. https://bustinoutofboise.org/

County Fair

This scrappy little table topper reflects the excitement of the County Fair: the chaos of the crowds, the noise from the rides and games, and the mouthwatering smells from all the food – cotton candy, corn dogs, fried onions, fried bread, giant turkey legs…

If you’re intimidated by the scalloped edges (which honestly aren’t as scary as they look), the pattern includes alternate layouts for a hexagonal quilt or a rectangular quilt.

The pattern is available as a free download and use the following BASICS Stamps:

 Stamp E (2” quarter-square triangle)

Stamp L (1” 60-degree diamond)

Stamp M (1” triangle)

Optional: Stamp L-Half is needed for the hexagonal or rectangular layouts.
